____________________________________________________   March 1st “Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect.  It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented.” - Arnold Palmer   Spring means a lot of things to a lot of people.  You're maybe really anxious to get the garden started, or maybe move some plants and flowers outside or maybe you're preparing your farm equipment for sping planting... "maybe" you're even waiting for it to warm up to get the Christmas lights off the house. Regardless of what you're been working or waiting to work on... I hope that we all share an excitement for another year of golf, wheter you play once a month or every day.   Your golf board has had a busy winter.  Although we've raised the membership dues, we believe we've been fair in doing so in an effort to keep those increases to a minimum.  As I stated in the statements that went out in December, we are asking for your input this year to increase the course's revenue so any future increases to membership dues are kept as small as possible.  Please let us know if you have any ideas on how we can bring more money to our course, be it to offset our daily expenses or funding a larger project (parking lot, cart barn, etc.).   We're going to try a couple of activities this year, some new and some that haven't been in place for a while... please watch for how you can become involved as a volunteer or supporter so we can continue to grow and improve.   Most importantly...
